The MATE professors took the lead in developing the curriculum and the Smart Greenhouses Technologies course material, so at the end of the project the university was interested in presenting the course, which was tested in 3 partner countries with about 90-100 participants, as widely as possible and to make suggestions for further use of the project results. MATE intends to reuse the results in
further training courses for horticultural engineers.
MATE has invited participants from all over the country, in particular former students of the University, who are potential users (beneficiaries) of theproject results.
In addition to a general presentation of the project, Dr. András Neményi, Associate Professor, presented the project's objectives and results. The different modules of the curriculum development were also discussed.
Dr. Zoltán Pék, the author of the curriculum, presented the basic concepts and significance of precision greenhouse cultivation, and also the topic of artificially illuminated plant cultivation.
During the event the online interface of the training, the course material and the tests were also presented.
