RainMachine is the best weather integrated smart irrigation controller with the ability to use and aggregate multiple internet weather services or local weather stations to produce highly reliable and high resolution localized weather data. Thanks to NOAA3 and other international weather data sources like: WUnderground, NetAtmo, FAWN, CIMIS, Mesonet, Davis, Metno, DarkSky, Deutscher Wetterdienst, Australian Bureau of Meteorology and Open Weather Map, humans and machines can access weather data streams such as: max temperature, minimum temperature, humidity, wind speed, solar radiation, water vapor pressure, amount of precipitation. These national and international weather services provide pin-point and reliable and free up-to-date weather forecasts.
- Wire the RainMachine according to the provided diagram and power it up.
- Install RainMachine mobile app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Using your phone, go to Settings / Wi-Fi and connect to the RainMachine network. Launch the RainMachine mobile application and select RainMachine from the Devices list in order to continue the setup. Select the desired WiFi network and insert the password. (The phone and the RainMachine must use the same WiFi network)
- Give a name to your RainMachine, insert a password and press Save. The default password is “admin” .
- Turn On Location services so that the RainMachine can have your location. You can also manually insert the location.
- Setup is finished!
