Horticulture 4.0 project was presented by our project partner, Imre-István Nyárádi (Sapientia EMTE MK, Faculty of Plant Medicine) at the MTNE 2022 - XVIII Agricultural Science Conference, organized by Sapientia EMTE, Study Centre, Sfântu Gheorghe, entitled: Agricultural Science is the basis of our future.
The 18th Congress of Agricultural Science with the motto "The basis of our life-giving future" was an excellent opportunity to introduce/popularize the Horticulture 4.0 project. Agricultural science conference, which was organized on November 25, 2022 in Sepsiszentgyörgy, the largest city of Háromszék region.
The home of the event was provided by the Sepsiszentgyörgy Study Center of the Sapientia Transylvanian Hungarian University, where the project's purpose, duration, target group, beneficiaries, implementing partners and the planned results were explained to 66 interested people through a presentation illustrated with a power point presentation and a roll-up.
The audience present had a heterogeneous composition belonging to the profession. The university community -BSc. and MSc. students, PhD students, lecturers (Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj Napoca, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Bucharest , University of Pécs, University of Sopron, Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, Transilvania University of Brasov)), teachers of secondary schools participating in vocational training (Gábor Áron Szaklíceum Kézdivásárhelyi, Apor Péter Szaklíceum Kézdivásárhelyi), representatives of foundations also involved in vocational training (Illyefalvi LAM Foundation), the agricultural experimental station of the region (SCDC Tg Secuiesc), and the larger agricultural representatives of its producers (SC Solfarm SRL, SC Productie Agrico M SRL), as well as industry parliamentary representative (Csaba Könczei) and ministerial advisor (Porzsolt Levente) were also present.
As part of the presentation/popularization event, images and audio material were made about the project, which will be disseminated more widely in the near future through the media partners present and institutional marketing channels (website, social media pages).
